Must ask Questions For Your Photographer
I have had many questions asked of me in over 20 years as a wedding photographer. Here are some of the more important ones I have been asked and you should consider asking when hiring a professional wedding photographer.
1. How many years experience do you have As A Wedding Photographer?
I have been a professional wedding photographer for over 20 years. I have photographed weddings in The United States, Mexico, and Europe.
2. Your images look so much better than other ones I see online, why is that ?
OMG there are lots of reasons for that, first our experience in knowing how to pose you in your wedding dress and with your groom to make you look your very best and to show the emotion, love, and excitement of your wedding day. Our clients are not models so we take them through every step of how to look amazing. Another reason is that we use a wide variety of lighting for different situations, we never just use a flash on camera. Umbrella, video, daylight & tungsten balanced, lights are just a few of the tricks in our arsenal.
3. How many weddings have you photographed?
I have personally photographed over 1,000 weddings.
4. Can I get referrals from your past clients?
YES ! Our past clients have loved what we do for them and you can check our website for the latest reviews from Brides.
5. What is the style of your wedding photography?
Our style is a combination of traditional, fashion, photojournalistic, with a great emphasis of telling the story of the wedding day.
6. Are You a Full Time Wedding Photographer?
This is how we earn 100% of our income. Wedding photography is not a hobby for us. Â The Monday following your wedding, my job is YOUR images.
7. Do you have finished albums from an entire wedding for viewing?
An experienced wedding photographer should have lots of samples from various events they have photographed. We have over 50 complete wedding albums for you to view at our studio. You can also view recent albums on our CLIENT VIEWING PAGE, Searching for images taken at your wedding? Just use the search box on our homepage to find a wedding we have photographed at your venue.
8. What kind of equipment do you use?
We use top of the line Mirrorless cameras we use are professional grade, not consumer grade cameras. The difference between a $1,500 camera and a 5,000 camera means better image quality and more reliability.
9. How many cameras do you take to a wedding?
We will have up to 5 cameras and multiple lenses at a wedding, just like NASA we backup our backups.
10. How soon after the wedding can I see my images?
We pride ourselves on showing a finished album layout online to share with family and friends 4-5 days after the wedding. How do we do this? Since we are full time photographers, we work on your images starting on Monday morning after your wedding. You have spent a lot of time and money towards your wedding, and we want to show the memories of your day while everyone is still excited about it and fresh in their minds.

I am a 3 time winner of the prestigious IPPG wedding photographer of the year and a two time winner of the Fuji Masterpiece award. Also to my credit are the following; William Krider Award, Top Ten Photographer in Indiana Award for several years in a row, Kodak Gallery Award, Multiple first place ribbons at the Indiana State Fair.
